physics for artists

:: a proposed exhibit :: conductors :: insulators :: conductivity ::

model by Katherine Nielsen in association with Claudia Li

Visitors can test different materials including wood (chopstick), plastic (toothbrush), metal (butter knife) and a combination item like a pencil. When the object is a conductor, the light will go on. The ciruit is complete. The circuit will be labelled and placed behind a clear glass, allowing visitors to see and visualize the actual parts of a working circuit. Visitors experience real science with everyday objects.

This is a fun design, I think children and adults would both enjoy it. "Hands On" learning is the best!
